4. Portability Isn’t Always as Great as It Seems
While AIO PCs are often marketed as being portable, in reality, they’re not as easy to move around as you might think. Sure, they’re more compact than a traditional desktop setup, but they’re still relatively heavy and bulky.

Another problem is the screen resolution and color accuracy. While some high – end AIOs offer excellent display quality, many mid – range and budget models have subpar screens. The colors might not be as vibrant or accurate as you’d like, and the resolution might not be high enough for detailed work.
And let’s not forget about screen burn – in. If you leave static images on the screen for long periods of time, like a desktop wallpaper or a toolbox in a design application, you might end up with a permanent ghost image on the screen. This can significantly reduce the lifespan and usability of the display.
6. Repair Complexity and Cost
Repairing an AIO PC can be both complex and expensive. As I mentioned earlier, the components are tightly integrated into a single unit, which makes it difficult for technicians to access and repair them.
If something goes wrong with the internal components, like the motherboard or the power supply, it often requires specialized tools and skills to fix. This means that you’ll probably have to take your AIO to an authorized service center, which can be inconvenient and time – consuming.
The cost of repair is also a concern. Since AIOs use specialized components, the replacement parts can be quite expensive. And on top of that, you’ll have to pay for the labor costs of the technician. In some cases, the cost of repairing an AIO can be almost as much as buying a new one.
